Scope

Background

RFL Property Services (RFLPS) was founded in 2017 and was set up to provide innovative solutions to the healthcare estate

Initially spanning the estate portfolio of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL), we have grown exponentially over the past few years and now cover sites across North London, Central London, the Northern Home Counties and the East of England. Our mission at RFLPS in all we do is to connect people who care through world class spaces. We are proud to support all our clients in this mantra.

In 2019 RFLPS established a consultancy function to share our skills and experience with other NHS and public sector partners. Our vision is to provide value for money expertise to organisations who may not have the “in-house” skill sets to realise their Estates and Transformation ambitions and, in turn, further investment into frontline patient care across RFL and the sector.

We have worked with and continue to work with a number of clients across a multitude of disciplines to help them build success.

Scope of the ISO Management System

RFLPS are committed to providing a high quality service to our customers. To this end, we have adopted the international standards ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 as a management systems model and have interpreted their requirements for our business. This manual defines the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in order to assure our customers of the high standards of service we aim to achieve.

Based on the interests of stakeholders, and in consideration of its services delivered while engaging in external fee earning commissions, RFLPS has determined the scope of the management system as follows:

Estates, Construction and Building Management Consultancy and Advisory Services

The quality system applies to all processes, activities, and employees engaged in the delivery of the services in scope whether working at RFL Property Services sites, remotely or based upon a client's site.

The company claims the following exclusions from the ISO standard:

Design and development

The IMS excludes design and development activities as the organization does not engage in the design or development of new products or services.

All products/services provided are based on pre-defined specifications from customers or existing standards and do not require modification or innovation under the organization's responsibility.
